Signs a Repair Will Do the Job
These problems can usually be repaired without replacing the whole fence:
- A few broken or missing boards, pickets or vinyl panels.
- One or two leaning posts in an otherwise solid fence.
- A gate that sags, drags or won't latch, usually a hinge, hardware or post issue.
- Storm damage limited to one or two sections.
Signs It May Be Time to Replace
Replacement often makes more sense when:
- Many posts are rotted, loose or leaning along the fence line.
- Wood is soft, rotted or crumbling in multiple sections.
- Vinyl has become brittle, cracked in many places or heavily discolored.
- Repairs keep adding up year after year.
What to Do After a Storm
After a storm, check your fence line for leaning sections, loose panels and gates that no longer close. Take photos for your records. If a pool fence or gate is damaged, keep children and pets away from the pool until it's secure again.
We repair storm damage on vinyl, wood and aluminum & metal fences.
